Our Alpacas

We have a small herd and generally have 2 or 3 new crias (baby alpacas) per year. Some are kept to grow our own herd, and we also offer some available for sale. Please contact us for more information about about any of the alpacas you see here.

All of our Alpacas are registered with the
ALPACA REGISTRY INC.

Maria's Fleece results 2007: micron count is 21.9 AFD, SD 4.5, CV of 20.6%, and fibers greater than 30 microns only 4.5%.

BREEDING MALES :

VINNIE
Sir Venegence - Huacaya
DOB: 10 Oct 2004 - #1430066
Sire: HDF Murray
Dam: Dakotias Virtue
Light Fawn/Beige

Herdsire: Vinnie has turned out to be an energetic herd sire. He's settled the females he's bred in one or (at most) two breedings. We're very pleased with the conformation and vigor his cria are showing. He seems to be letting the color of the dam come through, but adds fleece structure and fineness. Fleece test results in 2006: micron count is 21.8 AFD, SD 3.3, CV of 15.1%, and fibers greater than 30 microns only 1.3%.

Breeding Fee: $1250

PET/FIBER QUALITY FOR SALE:

Fiber/pet quality animals are generally males. They are healthy, sound animals, but will be sold without a reproductive guarantee. Since breeding males are the best of the best, some fine, healthy, average males are available for reasonable prices, ranging from $500 - $750. Contact us for specific information.
